Tali is a folk singer who implements her classical training, and experience in the worlds of opera, musical theatre and alt-rock into her exploration of culture and storytelling. She has sung at local competitions, concerts and gigs since the age of 7, and continues to grow her craft, inspired by everything from the uproarious merriment of Irish folkies like The High Kings and The Dubliners to the atmospheric intricacy and poetry of The Amazing Devil and The Oh Hellos. Growing up on the Isle of Wight, she was inspired by folk tales of sailors and pirates, and she implements these fantasy sensibilities into her music.
